Construction Equipment Project-CREC, PR China

(German Financial Co-operation)

CMC International Tendering Corporation (the Buyer) invites sealed Bids from eligible Suppliers and related Services for the Construction Equipment Project-CREC to be financed with the proceeds of a loan extended through Kreditanstalt fuer Wiederaufbau (KfW). The proceeds of this loan can only be used for Goods and related Services originating from outside the PR China (cf. * Eligible Goods and related Services).

The Project comprises the following Package:

Package 2 sets of EPB Shield Machine

All companies interested to participate in the Bid are kindly requested to contact the Buyer to obtain Bidding Documents between 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. (Beijing Time) starting from August 27, 2004 (except public holidays) in Beijing at the address given below, upon non-refundable payment of RMB 5,000.00 (EURO 500.00) for each set of Bidding Documents (one Package). Upon written request of the Bidder, the Bidding Documents can also be delivered by a special courier at an additional payment of US$ 40.00 (destination abroad) or RMB 150.00 (destination within PR China).

The latest date and time for receipt of Bids by the Buyer is at 10:00 a.m. (Beijing Time) on September 27, 2004. Only Bids received from Bidders duly registered with CITC when buying the Bidding documents will be accepted. Bidders must submit Tenders based on the whole Package. No Tenders only for the part of the Package will be considered.

All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in amount not less than 2(two)% of the bid price valid for a period of at least 150 days as from the final date of submission of the Bids covering the Goods and related Services.

Bidder must register at Web Site www.chinabidding.com before the bid opening date. Otherwise its bid shall be rejected.
