4. 128 slices conjugated acquisition 128 层共轭采集技术
? The CT system has the ability to acquire 128 unique rows of projections (scan
data) in one gantry rotation when the scanner operates in the axial mode
and helical mode. Taking advantage of the improved sampling density
resulting from the conjugate projection samples and utilizing 128 rows of
projection information to perform conjugate reconstruction enables an
improved z-spatial resolution and a better visualization of small phantom
objects.
CT 系统在轴位扫描和螺旋扫描模式下,具有在一周机架旋转过程中获得128 层独
特的投影数据采集的能力。通过充分利用共轭投影采样数据提高采样密度,以及使

? Adaptive Statistical Iterative Recon (ASIR) provides the users with a new
and innovative image reconstruction technology to reduce unwanted noise in
diagnostic images, allowing users to improve image quality at up to 50% less
dose.

? One way of overcoming the overly simplified assumptions of the FBP algorithm
is to use a technique called iterative reconstruction (IR). The underlying
approach for this methodology is the following. At a particular view angle,
we first calculate a synthesized projection by performing “forward
projection” on images of the estimated object. Basically, this is the first
estimate of the attenuation along this view, but with an important
difference. This estimate mimics, as much as possible, the process in real
CT scanning in which x-ray photons traverse through the object and reach
the detector. It mimics the finite (known) focal spot size by placing the
initial location of the x-ray photons over a small area instead of a single
point. During the modeling of x-ray photon interaction with the object, the
size and shape of the image voxel (not an assumed point) is considered by
calculating different path lengths for x-ray photons entering the voxel at
slightly different orientations and locations. In a similar fashion, the
detector shape and size are consiered through the modeling of the detector
response function. Thus the system optics are modeled with an IR
reconstruction while optics are not modeled with FBP.

the difference between the two shows the amount of adjustment or update
needed for the current estimation of the object (image). One of the goals
of the image update, or modification, is to minimize this difference.
Fluctuations in the projection measurement due to limited photon statistics
can also be taken into consideration during the image update process. Photon
statistics of each inbridual measurement are estimated and this
information is used in the reconstruction update process. In addition,
should the value of an image voxel be significantly different from all of
its neighbors, it is highly unlikely that such difference represents true
anatomical structure of the patient. It is more likely that this difference
is due to statistical fluctuation or noise in the image. Note that even a
small vessel is connected along the vessel tree and not isolated by a single
voxel. When all information is taken into consideration, the currently
reconstructed image is updated. This image is then fed through the entire
synthesizing and updating process again to obtain a newly updated image.
A disadvantage is that the modeling process is computationally intense and
the reconstruction time is much longer than desired. It turns out the most
time consuming portion of the reconstruction process is the modeling of the
system optics. While the value of modeling the system optics is mainly on
the spatial resolution of the reconstructed images, modeling of the system
statistics is mainly on the noise of the resulting image.

? The computational intensity on the modeling of the noise portion of the
system is not nearly as big as the modeling of the system optics. Therefore,
by focusing first on the modeling of the noise properties and the scanned
object, we provide significant benefit for those examinations that may
experience limitations due to noise in the reconstructed images, as a result
of lower dose examinations, large patients, thinner slices, etc. Phrased
differently, we gain the dose benefit by lowering the noise in the

easily added, manipulated, formatted or deleted. Images can contain text and

Exporting 输出
The Filmer provides export capabilities of any electronic film to DICOM SR,
PDF/HTML and JPEG/PNG/MPEG/AVI/QTVR format. Data Export is totally
integrated in the Filmer, thus providing the entire image processing tools
needed to perform multimedia image export. Its simplicity is reflected in
the different export mechanisms available: CD/DVD removable media, USB flash
drive or network HTTP and FTP protocols. It is intended for publishing and
communication, not for diagnostic purposes. Non-DICOM data can be also saved
on a multi-session CD/DVD using the Filmer tool.
